Walking Holidays for everyone

Arethusa Cottage Holiday Lodges are set within Pig Leg Lane Nature Reserve so walking opportunities are literally on the doorstep.  If, however, if you fancy something a little more challenging, the 68 mile long coastal path is a popular trail for many taking you around the whole circumference of the Island, passing sailing towns, busy harbours, wonderful beaches, seafronts and havens for wildlife. It can be split into six sections to make it a little less challenging!

The National Trust provides around 20 downloadable walks on the Isle of Wight and each of these gives a map, full directions and snippets of information about local history, nature or wildlife.  Visit https://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/lists/walking-on-the-isle-of-wight for details.

The Island has a Walking Festival each May where a range of guided walks are on offer but the Island is beautiful all year round so don't restrict your visit to May!
